Ancer had its first community event in Hyderabad, India on May 12th.
An upcoming artist in India; Prnati Khanna held her first art show. She was kind enough to support ANCER. The earnings made from a very popular painting of her’s “ASSHA”, was given to ANCER.
As a team we are absolutely thrilled, and blessed to be part of such a significant day in Pranati Khannas life. And her generosity, and kindness is beyond words. We hope that the word of ANCER was put out in the view of many people in Hyderabad, and many will want to be part of ANCER. This is just the first step to making a difference in the city. We are hoping for many open doors, and people willing to volunteer their time, and support.
Unfortunately we are experiencing problems uploading pictures. Please check out the Facebook page for some pictures of the event- http://www.facebook.com/WorldANCER
Thank you Again to Pranati Khanna, and Hyderabad, India for being so accepting of ANCER.
Much.Love,

Gateway Public School: Batch 2012

We are Excited to let everyone know that we are working on a new project called the “Ancer End Illiteracy Scholarship.”

It is very unfortunate that in India there are estimated about 296 million illiterates, age seven years and above. The greatest numbers of the world’s illiterates are in India. According to an estimate, only by 2060, we may see universal literacy in India. More than two-thirds of the world’s 793 million illiterate adults (two-thirds of them women) are found in only eight countries and India is one of them.

Ancer started a school for the underprivileged children in India over 20 years ago. The school has been small, due to the lack of financial support. Yet the amount of children who need an education in India is multiplying. There is young man who joined our orphanage at a very young age. He came from a very poor background, and had no education at all. We brought him up in the orphanage, and right away joined him into our school (Gateway Public School). He studied at our school till 6th grade (our school only goes up to 6th). We then joined him into a private school near the orphanage. He studied very hard, and became one of the top students in all his classes. Now at the age of 27 he has a master’s degree in commerce, and is an English professor in a very prestigious college. He is now very active in ANCER, and helps tutor the orphans in our orphanage. He is giving back, just as much as he received. This is our vision friends.  We want to be able to change all the children’s lives that come to our school. We want them to have an amazing story to tell, about how where you come from is not as important as where you are going.

With the upcoming school year coming up, Ancer would like to start the new program, “End Illiteracy scholarship” program.  This program will assist many children to receive an education, and a better future. We would like to get schools, colleges, churches, businesses, communities, and ANYONE who is interested in the education, and future of the youth of our generation. We would like the support financially, as well as volunteer their time to help the school grow, by being able to support a child, or a classroom. This in return would help the school grow, as well as shrink the illiteracy in India. We want to be able to teach children in an innovative, exceptional way, and in return the children will have a talent to reach a better, brighter future.  We want to be able to build a strong school, and give the best education we can.

These are the things Gateway Public School is lacking; a playground for our school, a better building to hold more students, a school bus, and teaching supplies. We also would like financial support be given as scholarships so we can bring more children into the Gateway Public School. If you would like to help, please contact us at:  info@worldancer.org, or timbreladidala@worldancer.org. Please check out or website www.worldancer.ogrg for more information.  If you know somebody, or business that would like to help better the lives of many children, please pass the word on. We are just a small organization, with a BIG heart, trying to make a BIGGER difference in this world we live in.

Children are the Future.

Thank you to our MANY friends, supporters, and kind hearts who help us make a difference.

Mariya is a young girl in our orphanage. She is about 8 years old, and has been in our orphanage for over 4 years. Her grandmother brought her to the orphanage, because she could not take care of her any more.

Mariya

Here is Mariya’s Story

Mariya’s mother and father died when she was a baby. Most probably due to AIDS, A disease which has taken over the country of India.  Her grandmother started taking care of her right away. Unfortunately her grandmother was living below the poverty, and taking care of Mariya, became too much to cope with. Mariya told me a story the other night, and tears filled both of our eyes. Tears filled her eyes, because she lived through such a horrific life, and tears filled my eyes, because I just couldn’t imagine what she has already been through at such a young age. So I felt the need to share this story, from the heart of a young 8-year-old.

Mariya said when she was very young, she remembers not being able to eat every day. Yes she was very young, but some memories imprint in your life no matter how old you are. And not being able to eat was a feeling, and memory that Mariya will never forget. She said that her grandmother was so poor, and could not provide for herself, let alone for Mariya. Mariya said that her grandmother told her that one night she got so desperate, andcould not take the stress, and sadness of not being able to feed her grand-daughter. She felt helpless, and got very desperate, and felt like she had no other options, except a fatal one. So she took poison, and put it in Mariya’s milk, and her food. In mariya’s grandmothers mind it was the only way that she could escape the reality that she was not able to provide, and be a good grandmother. But fate has a funny way of working out, and the poison did not work. Mariya’s grandmother woke up the next morning, alive, and beside her was her perfectly fine grandaughter. In mariya’s words she quoted- “God was not ready to take me yet”. Through word of mouth, Mariya’s grandmother heard of the “Elim Hope Home” orphanage, that ANCER has. She knew this was her only hope for her granddaughter.  So she brought mariya to the orphanage, and begged the orphanage to take care of her granddaughter. We did, and since that day Mariya has never gone a day without food, or love.

Mariya is such a happy child, and even with all the sadness she has had to live through, she alway has a smile on her face. She is a typical little girl, and loves dressing up, wearing makeup, and doing her hair. She is very smart, and is one of the top students in her class. While the other orphans speak in telugu(mother tongue of Andhra Pradesh) she tried her best to speak in english. When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher, and be able to have a family.

She told me one night, how thankful she is for being in the orphanage. Being able to have 3 meals a day, and 2 snacks. To be able to sleep with other children around her, to have good clothes to wear, shower every day, a good school to go to, and good friends. She said – “What more could I want big sister”? With those few words, she made sense of why we at ANCER do what we do.

This is the difference we at ANCER aim to do ALL OVER THE WORLD. Change the lives of the helpless, and young children of this world. There are many reasons children are becoming orphans; parents are dying of AIDS, or other diseases, being abandoned by their own parents, natural disasters, or running away, these are just a few of the reasons why the amount of orphans in the world are multiplying. We want to help each child that needs help, and not turn them away. And we need your help, and your support. Like us On facebook-  http://www.facebook.com/WorldANCER , tell your friends about us, tell organizations about the work we are doing.

SPREAD THE ANCER!

It may be hard for you to understand the need while you are sitting in your comfy house, on your new laptop, and have everything you need. But once you leave your comfort zone, and see the REAL world, you will realize there are more humans who are in lack, than who have.  The world is a sad place, once you go beyond the land of freedom, and abundance. Please reach out to the one’s in need, and better humanity. Make a difference, and help us, by Supporting ANCER.

MuchLove!

Our ANCER to a problem that effects the whole world.

ANCER (ALL NATIONS CHILDRENS EMERGENCY RELIEF) Is an organization that was started with children in mind. Our Goal is to make a difference in the poverty-stricken lives of the young and innocent; children. Our world is filled with millions of orphans, who lose their parents every day to diseases, natural disasters, or abandonment. Each day more children are not being able to get an education, and have to work as slaves, or under-payed, and mistreated workers in a sweat shop. Each day mothers lose their new-born children, because of lack of nutrition, and support from families. Each day young girls are sold into sex trafficking, and into the dark world of prostitution. Each day more children are dying on the side of roads, due to lack of care nourishment, and a place to call home. We want to change this world, and provide an ANCER to their call for help, and loneliness.

Our organization started out in India, but our plan is to move world-wide. We currently have an orphanage in India, a school for underprivileged children, a trade school for young girls, and mothers to learn the art of sewing, so they can better their lives. We also provide help to young expecting mother, who need nourishment, and vitamins for a promising pregnancy, and after the childs birth we provide milk, and care for the young mother, and new-born child. We provide food for street children, and hope to bring them into the orphanage, so they can have a future, and care. We have a school for underprivileged children, so they may have a chance at an education, and bettering their lives. We conduct small medical camps, so that young children can get medical attention, and hopefully be protected from disease’s such as  AIDS, or HIV.  We also have many more projects in the works, and are hoping to get started with.

We are a small organization, but our heart is BIG. These young children are our worlds future, and we want to give them all we can, to promise them a great future, as well as our worlds future.

Support us, and tell everyone you know about our organization. We need your HELP & SUPPORT.
